Textures: Tipping

The textures below can be used to in creating an array of patterns, including Grizzle, Sable, Shaded/Chinchilla, and Mingled Tortoiseshell. Individual breed standards and other standard definition docs may also mention other uses for tipping textures that are accepted, such as to create a transition between two colours. Not all of these textures are accepted for Ticked tabby - please see the tabby textures page and the rex tabby textures page for accepted textures for that pattern. The tables below list the textures along with their names, creators, transparency index value(s), and usage instructions. Textures are shown here in .bmp format and can be saved directly from this page. Textures have been split into shorthair/longhair textures and rex/wirehair textures.
